Hong Kong (Part 1)

Hello hello everyone!
Yes yes I'm finally back! And if you are like "From where?" Then you obviously don't follow me on twitter.. Please do? Hehe @mirandamikaela

So I left for Hong Kong last Thursday and I stayed there for 4 days! It was amazing! I shopped and ate all day long!

I stayed in the hotel called Langham Place in Mongkok. It's a pretty nice hotel and it's linked directly to the Langham Place Mall (if you don't know what it is, IT'S A HUGE H U G E super mall..) so plus points for shopoholics and food fanatics like me!!

Our rooms weren't ready when we arrive so we went to grab some lunch.

First meal in Hong Kong:
*salivates* look at that char siew and sio ba (?) aka roasted pork!!!!!!

Then my mum and I went shopping in Langham Mall... Initially, we didn't buy anything because Monki and H&M were way too crowded to enter. Btw, I saw that H&M still had a ton of Marni x H&M clothing which I thought was really funny. People, here in Singapore, are queueing overnight and there it was, lying untouched on some clothes rack.

I was really upset so we went to get some good dinner..
CRAB PORRIDGE! With a whole freaking crab inside it! Yummzaayyyyy~!

Then we had to go back to the hotel room to deliver food to my sister who was unwilling to go shopping with us. I was really bored sitting around the hotel room so I begged my mom if we could go and shop even more, hoping that the queue at Monki would have subsided. AND SHE AGREED. Felt like #luckiestgirlintheword. Yes, I know this isn't twitter hehe but #justsayin

So we went to i.t. and I saw these absolutely gorgeous shoes. I turned to my mom and told her we needed to get them and we did. I was surprised that she really bought them.

Pair #1: Jeffrey Campbells! OMG! Haha it's my first pair ever~

Pair #2: I loved these even though the brand isn't really well known.. In fact, I forgot the brand name but it's pretty. I really love the workmanship.

So I slept happily on the first night~

The next day, we headed to SCAD aka Savannah College of Arts and Design aka my future university!

The school use to be a magistrate building so the interior is really WOW and cool.

First camwhoring picture of me for this post.. hehe hi there

We got a private tour of the whole campus. There were no students because it's currently their spring break :(

The grills were there because they were afraid students would escape! Kidding! Remember how I said it use to be a magistrate building? Yeah, that's why!

Me fooling around while waiting for our cab to take us to the residential area of the uni

THIS DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A SCHOOL AT ALL.. IT LOOKS LIKE A RESORT!!

The sad thing was that the rooms were pretty tiny. The one below in the picture is already the master bed room! But then again, the houses in Hong Kong are not cheap~ So....
Hehe hello again. Wearing a windbreaker I got from Monki. Isn't it cute? I thought it looked really aunty in the beginning but it started to grow on me.

Later at night, we went to the Ladies' Night Market which was PACKED. So I didn't get any pictures cause people were jostling me.

Buying some street food. Yummy...

When we got back I just hit the hay. Oh I bought a bowler hat. It's the header image of my blog now so I won't post it again.

This shall be the end of part 1!~ Will blog again tomorrow about the other two days!

xoxo Miranda
