Hello hello hello beautiful world~
So today was a pretty alright day for me. I didn't go to school cause I keep coughing and sneezing like some fool :( My shoulders are also aching and it hurts like crap!!! I signed up for this Maybelline event later in the night so I was doing my best to cure myself. Downed tons and tons of water and slapped on A LOT of tiger balm. So by 5pm, I felt good enough to head out to the little get-together!

So the get-together session was held at Social Haus! It's this little cosy cafe around Tiong Baruh!
It was pretty fun! Kaykay was the host~!

Maybelline also gave us goody bags! Yippeeee! I was about to buy their mascara! They saved my cha-ching, awesome~ Can't wait to try it out.
Oo, that lipstick. It's the color sensation lipstick. This was my virgin experience using a Maybelline lipstick and I just have one comment about it..
BEST LIPSTICK I'VE EVER USED. EVER. REALLY. NO JOKE.
I used Chanel, YSL, Mac, Topshop, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, etc but I have to say (considering the price too), Maybelline wins hands down! Of course, the others have more classy and chic packaging, but at the end of the day, it's the product that matters. I really am not a big fan of Mac lipsticks. Although they have an awesome color selection, the lippies are CRAZY drying.
So, tomorrow I'm going to go straight to a Maybelline counter and pick up tons of these lipsticks. OMG, I'm in love... HAHAH...
I use to not buy any drugstore makeup cause my friends would look at my makeup bag and say (for example) "ewww, you use Maybelline? That's so low class!" So I splurged on all those departmental store cosmetics. However, last year I decided to ignore whatever comments my friends made and buy some drugstore makeup and I was surprised with the quality. It's just as good as those big "high-end" cosmetics!
Maybelline is definitely my favourite drugstore brand~ and NO I'm not just saying that hehe!
