Hey there chipmunks!
Camp ended about 4 days ago and I still couldn't shake off how much I missed it. I missed everything. The cold hard wooden floor upon which we slept on. The surprisingly yummy food. And the exciting activities carefully put together by an amazing team of seniors. However, what I missed most was the company. Hence, when my group leaders informed me that there was a Bragi (aka my group in camp in case you haven't read my previous post) outing, I hastily said "I'M IN".
Yesterday's outing was held at Marina Square which was an ideal location as it has pool tables, a bowling alley and a cinema! Bravesto (my amazeballs subgroup) decided to play pool while waiting for the movie Snitch to start. (I'll talk about the movie later.. 3 words: OH MY GAWD)
The place was pretty much swarming with Ngee Ann Poly students. Yup, everyone in the background of the above picture was from Bragi. Also, please ignore the bromance going on there.... Hahaha.
With Gladys and Wenn Hao :)
Arief!
Mr Marc Jacob (YES IT'S HIS REAL SURNAME) and his cooltastic tongue piercing
With Ama!
Cray cray Kassandra who also brought us yummy awfully chocolate brownies and this creamy butterscotch thing. SINFUL SINFUL but thanks gurl! We love you :*
Jing lin!!!!! Who sadly had to leave early T_T
Han Xin :D
After playing pool, we headed next door to the cinema to catch... Snitch. Here's the trailer:
Looks pretty good right? As though it'll be jam-packed with combat and action.
WRONG
It was the second most boring movie I have ever seen (The first was The Last Airbender <--- complete rubbish) The whole movie is basically about drugs dealing. In addition, THE WAY THEY SPEAK. OH MY GOD. I can't even understand what kind of gangster lingo they are using. Horrible show. I'd give it 1.5/5. The acting was pretty good, thus the 1.5. Ack. Like what Marc said "The most exciting part of the movie was eating my popcorn." Well said ;)
A random picture of me posing with our crazy long strip of tickets plus some weird extras in the back hahaha!
I don't have anymore pictures from then on. We basically spent the rest of the day chatting away about everything and anything under the sun. We met up with the other subgroups and even caught a glimpse of our oh-so-hansome DH (haha!).
I really love my subgroup a lot. What I think is cool is that although we were forced into a subgroup together (as in we didn't get to choose our groups), we still befriended each other. No one was ever left out. Bravesto just feels like family and I love how we just accept each other for who we are :)
